Is Chamber of Secrets the most underrated Harry Potter movie?

I still think Goblet of Fire is the most enjoyable one, but Chamber of Secrets is only other HP movie I can bear watching without falling asleep.

Out of the first 3 HP movies where the characters are still little kids and not annoying teens, this was by far the most entertaining.

Sure like all HP movies it's too long and has too many useless scenes but it has a lot of cool stuff like the shape changing potion, a cool murder-mystery, a scary killer monster, plus you got Harry going Conan and stabbing a huge fucking snake with a sword, how can you beat that?

The impostor/fake dark arts teacher was good comedic relief too.

anyone else enjoyed it?

I thought Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was the best. It was darker than the others at the time and a little more stylized, probably because the awesome Alfonso CuarĂ³n (Children of Men) directed.

So how do you like my blog so far?

Yes,it's also an underrated book to.

Chris Columbus really did the book justice, while in fact deviating for drama [In the books Harry automatically sounded like Goyle] and darkening things up.

Maybe it isn't as stylized, but its' still darker than that ridiculously angsty,fast-paced,confusing third one.

I'd still trust the guy who did Home Alone over the guy who did A Little Princess.

I'd venture as far to say that after Columbus left,it all fell apart.
